End of the Trail

2016 Indian Chief motorcycle with mural by Erik.

This one actually made us a bit nervous because they brought in the original artwork circa 1918 and asked if we could reproduce something similar on the bags. That in itself wasn’t distressing, but the fact that they intended to leave the original in our safekeeping while the job was done was a bit un-nerving.  This is a paint shop after all, not a gallery.

Well, we took some photos of it to use in the shop and kept the original safely tucked away in our secure area. It was reviewed a few times for detail, but only by folks that weren’t already knee deep in a six pack.

The final result is exactly what they were hoping for and there’s talk of working up some tank graphics for them in the near future!
